Thraki Rossidou Jones was born
in Famagusta. She has neen painting since her earliest childhood
and exhibiting her works since 1980. She has exhibited her work
in Cyprus and abroad, and has received numerous prizes, most
notably the Grand Prix from The Jagotina Museum of Yugoslavia
in 1994 & 1995,and the Gold Badge in 1999 for her Cultural
Services to the Serbian State. |

Η Γιωργούλα Καραγιώργη γεννήθηκε στην Αμμόχωστο το 1971. Το 1996 αποφοίτησε από την Ακαδημία Καλών Τεχνών του Κιέβου. Από το 2000 ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα.
Αυτή είναι η δεύτερη ατομική της έκθεση. Η πρώτη πραγματοποιήθηκε το 1999 στην Gallery Opus 39 στην Λεμεσό.
Συμμετείχε σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις στο Κίεβο, στη Κύπρο και την Αθήνα.
Η περιήγηση στον κόσμο των χρωμάτων της Γιωργούλας προϋποθέτη την ψυχική <<ελαφρότητα>> του θεατή. Η μετοχή στο έργο δημιουργεί εσωτερικές απογειώσεις, καθώς η τέχνη λειτουργεί ως μέσο μεταφοράς στιγμών της δράσης του ονείρου στην υλική τους απόδοση.
Η καλλιτέχνης καραδοκεί να συλλάβει τις διεργασίες των βαθμίδων των ψυχικών ιδιοτήτων και οι συναισθηματικές δονήσεις εγκλωβίζονται σε σχήματα και χρώματικες εκρήξεις που υπερβαίνουν τις περιστασιακές τους εκδοχές.
Η πολυμορφία του καλλιτεχνικού έργου καταδεικνυεί την αγωνιώδη αναζήτηση νέων δυνατοτήτων έκφρασης, απαλλαγμένων από την αυταρέσκεια δεδομένων και επαναλαμβανόμενων τύπων, διατηρώντας ταυτόχρονα την αίσθηση της ισορροπίας, δηλωτικό των καλλιτεχνικών ικανοτήτων ελέγχου των συνθέσεων και της χρωματικής κλίμακας.

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ
Συμπλήρωσε τις σπουδές του στο Πολυτεχνείο Middlesex (τώρα Πανεπιστήμιο Middlesex) το 1982, παίρνοντας το Δίπλωμα Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης στην Τέχνη και Αγγλική Λογοτεχνία (Diploma in Higher Education in Art and English Literature). Ύστερα από το πρώτο έτος (Foundetion Year) στην Σχολή Hornsey School of Art, ολοκλήρωσε την φοίτηση του στην ίδια σχολή το 1984, παίρνοντας πτυχίο με διάκριση στις Καλές Τέχνες και Αγγλική Λογοτεχνία (B.A. Honors Degree in Fine Art and English Literature). Ζει και εργάζεται μόνιμα στο Λονδίνο.
ΕΡΓΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ
Από την αποπεράτωση των πτυχιακών σπουδών μέχρι σήμερα εργάζεται στην ζωγραφική και το ελεύθερο σχέδιο επαγγελματικά και ανεξάρτητα, δημιουργώντας πολυάριθμα έργα, συνήθως μεγάλης κλίμακας, κατ'εξοχή σε λάδι, όπως και μελέτες σε κάρβουνο, μολύβι κ.ά. Η δημιουργική του παραγωγή στην ζωγραφική αρχίζει με συνθέσεις από τα φοιτητικά του χρόνια και συνεχίζεται αδιάκοπη μέχρι σήμερα. Περιλαμβάνει έργα μεγάλου μεγέθους, κυρίως τρίπτυχα, καθώς και μικρότερα έργα. Η ποικίλη και πλούσια θεματογραφία γεφυρώνει την αρχαία μυθολογία και ιστορία με την σύγχρονη πραγματικότητα, δημιουργώντας δυναμικές αλληγορίες και συμβολικές παραστάσεις με διαχρονικές αναφορές, που διαπερνούν τη σύγχρονη πραγματικότητα και την επιφάνεια της καθημερινότητας ερευνώντας και διατυπώνοντας δραματικά τη σύνδεση της με το ιστορικό και μυθολογικό παρελθόν. Παράλληλα η εργασία του Δημήτρη Βύρωνος εμπλουτίζεται συνεχώς από μελέτες κατ'ευθείαν από τη φύση, σπουδές γυμνού κ.ά. |

ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ:
Ο Κυριάκος Θουκής γεννήθηκε στην Λεμεσό το 1979 και αποφοίτησε το 1997 από το Λανίτειο Λύκειο Α'. Το 1999 - 2000 σπούδασε Ισπανικές Σπουδές (Ισπανική Γλώσσα και Κουλτούρα) στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Βαρκελώνης. Το 2000 εισήχθε στη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Πανεπιστημίου της Βαρκελώνης όπου αποφοίτησε το 2004. Το 2002 - 2003 τιμήθηκε με την υποτροφία SENECA (Ανταλλαγή φοιτητών μεταξύ Ισπανικών Πανεπιστημίων) όπου φοίτησε ένα ακαδημαϊκό έτος στην Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών του Πανεπιστημίου της Γρανάδας. Έχει λάβει μέρος σε ομαδικές εκθέσεις στην Ισπανία και την Κύπρο. Έχει βραβευτεί σε διαγωνισμούς και έχει πάρει αρκετέ τιμητικά διπλώματα. Αυτή είναι η πρώτη του ατομική έκθεση με μια επιλογή από έργα των ακαδημαϊκών του χρόνων. |

RUSTAM MIRZOYEV is an artist who freely changes his style looking for new pictorial effects. His works, different in style, are always distinguished by harmonious compositions and decorative color spectrum. He combines in his works figurative motives and abstracts elements and textures. The artist often includes various materials (metal, wood) in his paintings to achieve special expressiveness.
1974 –Born in Nikolaev.
1993 – Graduated from the Art College named after Samokish ( Simferopol , the Crimea ).
Since 1995 – Participation in regional and national exhibitions.
Since 2000 – A member of Artists' Union of Ukraine.
2001 – Grand-Prix of the municipal art competition “Molode im'ja roku” (“A young name of the year”).
